General Information
The University of the Arts is one of the United States' oldest universities dedicated to the arts. Its campus makes up part of the Avenue of the Arts in Center City, Philadelphia.

For more than 130 years, we have defined creativity. The University of the Arts in Philadelphia is one of the only universities in the United States solely dedicated to educating creative individuals in the visual and performing arts andUniversity Of The Arts design. Our 2,100 undergraduate and graduate students and 500 faculty members are passionate about what they do, and in the process, are redefining the way we think, teach and create.

At the University of the Arts, creativity in all its forms overlaps and converges, like colors combining to form more vibrant hues. Musicians collaborate with media makers. Photographers work with designers, writers with performers.

  • Access to UArtsCareers, a comprehensive online system offering listings of opportunities including internships, part-time jobs, summer jobs, freelance projects & gigs, auditions, volunteer positions, and full-time career positions. Through UArtsCareers, students and alumni may also store and distribute online resumes and portfolios.
  • Career resource library that includes books on general career guidance, books and directories focused on the various artistic disciplines, as well as industry publications/periodicals.
  • A variety of handouts on job search strategies, interview techniques and career development, and links to valuable Internet career resources.
