The Ecology Cafe, located on the Ground Floor, provides a variety of snacks and meals. The Academy Shop, which is located to the left as you enter the the museum, features a wide range of gifts and collectibles. Groups with ten or more people and that register 72 hours in advance are eligible for group discounts. Groups are also eligible for guided tours of our exhibit galleries, research library, and behind-the-scenes tours of our research collections and laboratories.

Visitors are welcome to take personal photos and videos during their visit. However, the use of tripods may be restricted because of public safety concerns. Commercial and media photographers, videographers, and filmmakers should consult our guidelines.
