  • History: Learn about the Delaware Rivers contribution to the growth of America's first city. From Swedish settlers of the early 17th century to William Penn's city of neighborhoods, from the American revolution to the industrial revolution, from a shipbuilding center to a major modern shipping port, the Delaware River has long been the lifeblood of Philadelphia. Sail back in time with us and learn about the people, ships and commerce that built Philadelphia and America. Sails most mornings.
  • Tropical: If the island life is a state of mind, then this is the destination for your imagination. You might not see Jimmy Buffett in a hammock under our palm tree, but you'll come close! We play a great variety of tropical beach music with our own jambalaya mixture of Caribbean, Cajun, Reggae, New Orleans and Memphis music, with plenty of Florida and California sunshine thrown in. We always have a good time and so will you! Beginning Thursday, May 24th, the three afternoon Tropical Sails will operate from the dock at the Independence Seaport Museum at 211 South Columbus Boulevard. Purchase the Combo Ticket at the museum and get discounted admission to both attractions. Get Tickets Now
  • Sunset Sails: Our dock is halfway down the Pier on the left-hand side. The crew will meet you at the gate and guide you down the ramp to the dock. Watch your step and welcome aboard.
  • Moonlight Sails: Our tropical theme continues in the moonlight late at night with a special selection of songs that will put you in the middle of the Caribbean Sea. It's as close to a Parrothead paradise you can find in Philadelphia. It's our little tropical secret. Don't forget to wear your grass skirt and your own Hawaiian shirt! Welcome aboard!
  • Firework Trip: Everybody loves fireworks and to see them from the river is something special. The Fourth of July celebration in Philadelphia lasts several days. The fireworks on the 4th are on the Ben Franklin Parkway near the Art Museum. Fireworks on the river will be Saturday June 30th this year. Over the Summer there will also be fireworks at Penn's Landing every Friday night from July 27th through August 31st. But Tickets Now
  • Pirate Week: Pirate Week is your chance to go a little nuts! Join us for Pirate Sails every day during the week of September 9th through the 15th. Watch out for another Pirate Battle on the river featuring four or five ships, including the Summer Wind. We're more maneuverable than the bigger ships, so the advantage in close quarters is ours!
